“A Man Never Stands So Tall As When Kneeling To Help A Child”

The Active 20-30 Club of Bakersfield was founded in 1928. Our chapter is geared towards men in their 20’s and 30’s. The Club’s objective is to serve the underprivileged youth in our community while developing leadership in our members.

Active 20-30 membership draws from all professions and is open to everyone between the ages of 20 and 39. Our organization differs from many other service organizations in that not only do we raise money for needy children’s charities, but also strongly encourage “hands-on” interaction. This active participation serves to solidify our personal relationships with those we serve, maintains motivation, and produces a high degree of personal satisfaction.

We serve the children of Kern County through direct contributions in excess of $100,000 annually. The distribution of these monies is voted on by the Board of directors. 100% of all funds go to local children’s charities.

Our members meet every Tuesday for lunch,  except the last Tuesday of the month from 12:00pm-1:00pm.  To obtain more information or to learn about any upcoming events, please email us at [email protected] and one of our members will be in contact with you shortly. Join us for a lunch meeting to see what the Bakersfield Active 20-30 Club is all about.

If you are not eligible for membership but would like to support children’s charities in our community, please contact an Active 20-30 member or email us at [email protected]. Your support through donations, raffle prizes, building materials, advertising, cash contributions and participation in our events will help tremendously. With your support, we can make Bakersfield a better place for children to grow up.
