Children’s Shopping Spree

Kohl’s and the Active 20-30 Club of Bakersfield will hold the 2019 annual Children’s Shopping Spree event on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at both Bakersfield Kohl’s locations.  

The annual event, formerly known as ‘ChildSpree,” is a partnership between the Active 20-30 Club of Bakersfield, Bakersfield West Rotary, Bakersfield North Rotary, CASA, Community Connection for Child Care, Youth Connection, The Boys and Girls Club of Kern County and Kohl’s.

Hosted at both Kohl’s locations, the annual Children’s Shopping Spree provides over 250 children each with a $100 gift certificate to spend on the latest back-to-school fashions (for some children, this event provides the only clothes they receive all year), a new backpack and breakfast after the event.
